AlcoholEDU and Sexual Assault Education
CSU is committed to providing a safe campus for all students and promoting a culture of respect, dignity, and safety. As a result, CSU requires students to complete the AlcoholEDU and RespectEdu (formerly Sexual Assault Prevention) online modules.
AlcoholEDU
This online education module will help you make informed decision about alcohol and other drugs and prepare you to respond in potentially risky situations, whether you choose to use or not.
This module is required for all incoming undergraduate students under the age of 23 (by 35 days before the semester starts), including new, transfer, and international students. Please note that CSU does not accept course completions from previous institutions. Exceptions: graduate students, distance learners not physically present on CSU campus, non-degree seeking students who are taking courses without pursuing a formal credential through CSU.
The online module will be available 35 days prior to the beginning of the semester. You can access the program directly through your RAMweb account under the “Health Network” menu. You will also receive an email to your CSU email address alerting you that the module is open. The email will include detailed instructions on how to complete the module.

The graduate version is assigned to graduate students and undergraduate students that are over the age of 23 35 days before the semester starts. Examples include but are not limited to: PLACE students (taking Self Improvement Courses for Academic English), GUEST, Continuing Education, and Faculty/Staff students through taking On campus (RI) and CSU Online courses which require application every term they wish to register for courses, Special University Partnership Non-Degree students who are not pursuing a formal credential and are taking classes limited in timing and scope such as RAMScholar students who are taking classes with a more limited course content focused on skill development to support.
The online module will be available 35 days prior to the beginning of the semester. You can access the program directly through your RAMweb account under the “Sexual Assault Prevention” menu. You will also receive an email to your CSU email address alerting you that the module is open. The email will include detailed instructions on how to complete the module.
