The online Graduate Certificate in Public Management will provide current and future public leaders with the foundations of the core components of managing public organizations. To effectively lead and manage organizations, leaders must understand historical and current theories, concepts, approaches, and practices in public administration. Public servants are asked to achieve results in the management of public organizations and understanding these theories can help in the pursuit of successful organizational outcomes. Through these courses, students will be exposed to best practices and tools to support management, leadership, organizational culture, budgeting, social equity, effectiveness, and efficiency in government organizations.

Individuals with a four-year undergraduate degree from a recognized institution are eligible for admission. Students interested in graduate work should refer to the Graduate and Professional Bulletin.
